Job description

Donorlytics is a growing technology company using data and AI to support mission-driven organizations. We build practical tools that help nonprofit teams operate with greater clarity, confidence, and effectiveness. Our environment is calm, supportive, and focused on meaningful work built with modern technology.

  • Early stage, funded, and growing
  • AI powered tools built for the nonprofit sector
  • Strong reputation with early users and advisors
Role Overview

This role leads consultative sales conversations with nonprofit decision-makers and owns the relationship from demo through early onboarding. This is a full-cycle sales role that requires proactive pipeline generation alongside inbound opportunities. You will run demos, manage follow-ups, close new accounts, and ensure customers are successfully activated in their early stages. While inbound leads and internal systems support the role, consistent outbound effort and self-directed prospecting are essential. This position blends sales execution, education, and early customer experience, with a strong emphasis on ownership, momentum, and professional judgment.

What you’ll do
  • Run 1:1 product demos with nonprofit leaders and stakeholders
  • Lead consultative conversations to understand organizational needs, challenges, and readiness
  • Manage follow-ups and move opportunities through a structured sales pipeline
  • Close new accounts and take responsibility for outcomes
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow defined workflows
  • Share feedback from sales conversations to improve messaging, onboarding, and activation
  • Own early onboarding and activation
Who You Are

You lead professional, consultative conversations, explain products clearly, and follow through without reminders. You take ownership of outcomes and prefer thoughtful, trust-based sales interactions over high-pressure tactics. You’re organized, dependable, and confident working with autonomy in a customer-facing role.

This Role Is Not For You If
  • You prefer high-volume, script-driven, or aggressive sales environments
  • You prefer shared ownership or handoffs over clear responsibility
  • You want narrowly defined responsibilities without customer-facing accountability
Requirements
  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or consultative environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience running live demos and managing follow-ups
  • Willingness to learn the nonprofit space and product quickly
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation and Benefits

On-Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000 to $125,000 (base plus performance bonus)

Includes a base salary in the $50,000–$65,000 range plus commission.

Final compensation is based on experience and performance

Benefits include:

  • Paid time off
  • 401(k) plan
