Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Solutions Engineer to own customer technology projects from kickoff through completion, acting as the primary hands-on technical resource throughout the implementation lifecycle. They will lead cloud, infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft-focused migrations while partnering closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers to deliver high-quality solutions and successful customer outcomes.

Pay for this position is between 30 and 35 / HR.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems, Infrastructure, Cloud or Network Engineering experience.
• MSP, Professional Services, or Project Engineering background preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking and infrastructure technologies.
• Experience serving as the primary technical resource on customer-facing projects.
• Must obtain an approved certification within 180 days (e.g., AZ-305, CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, VCP, Azure Solutions Architect, MS 365 EA).

They will lead cloud, infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft-focused migrations while partnering closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers to deliver high-quality solutions and successful customer outcomes.

Day-to-Day

• Lead customer technology implementations from planning through completion
• Own cloud, infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft-focused migrations
• Partner with Project Managers, Solution Architects, clients, and internal teams
• Serve as the primary hands-on technical resource throughout implementations

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of Systems, Infrastructure, Cloud, or Network Engineering experience, preferably within an MSP environment
• Proven ability to independently lead technical migrations and implementations from start to finish
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and infrastructure technologies
• Experience serving as the primary technical resource on customer-facing projects
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and overall project ownership skills
• Must currently possess or obtain an approved certification within 180 days, such as AZ-305, CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, VCP, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, FCSS in Network Security, or an accepted equivalent
• MSP, Professional Services, Consulting, or Project Engineering background
• Experience leading M365, Azure, server, application, Teams Phone, or network migrations
• Firewall deployment and switch refresh experience
• Infrastructure modernization experience
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Experience identifying automation opportunities
