Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Delivery to lead a team of systems integrators and senior technical resources in delivering complex hardware and software solutions for customers. The role oversees customer-facing delivery, escalations, and resource planning, partnering with PM, Sales, Engineering, Product, and Support teams.

The ideal candidate has deep systems integration, professional services, or enterprise implementation experience and can coach a growing technical team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 8+ years in systems integration, software implementation, or related technical environments.
• 3+ years leading customer-facing technical teams and delivery resources.
• Experience managing SI/Implementation Engineers and Solution Architects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise hardware/software deployments and integration architectures.
• Experience with regulated industries (finance, government, healthcare, etc.).
• Proven ability to coach teams, manage escalations, and drive accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Delivery to lead a team of Systems Integrators and senior technical resources responsible for implementing and supporting complex hardware and software solutions within customer environments. This individual will oversee customer-facing technical delivery, team development, escalations, resource planning, and operational performance while partnering closely with Project Management, Sales, Engineering, Product, and Support teams.

The ideal candidate has a background in systems integration, technical consulting, solution delivery, professional services, or enterprise implementations and has experience leading teams responsible for deploying technology in highly regulated environments. This person must understand both hardware and software implementations, be comfortable supporting customer escalations, and possess the leadership skills to coach and develop a growing technical team. This role requires approximately 25-35% travel across North America and occasionally Latin America to support customer implementations, escalations, team development, and field-based operations.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, MIS, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in systems integration, software implementation, technical services, solution delivery, software development, support engineering, or related technical environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, coordinating, or managing customer-facing technical teams.
• Experience managing Systems Integrators, Implementation Engineers, Solution Architects, Technical Consultants, Support Engineers, or similar technical delivery resources.
• Strong understanding of enterprise hardware and software implementations, including infrastructure, servers, networking, databases, operating systems, security, integration architectures, and deployment activities.
• Experience supporting customer-facing technical delivery, escalations, implementation challenges, and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Ability to understand implementation effort, provide technical guidance, estimate delivery activities, and support presales solutioning discussions.
• Experience working within highly regulated industries such as financial services, government, identity, payments, healthcare, transportation, secure credential issuance, or similar environments.
• Proven ability to coach and develop technical teams, identify skill gaps, create development plans, and foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing technical risks, customer escalations, resource allocation, utilization, delivery performance, and competing priorities.
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations, implementation sites, and corporate offices as needed.
• Hands-on experience as a Systems Integrator, Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, Implementation Engineer, Solution Architect, Senior Support Engineer, or similar technical delivery role.
• Experience with card personalization systems, EMV, smart card technologies, PKI, key management, HSMs, identity management, biometrics, information security, or secure issuance solutions.
• Familiarity with Entrust solutions such as DPP, Adaptive Issuance, Identity Enterprise, IDaaS, CA, Secura, or related platforms.
• Experience with Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, networking, databases, cloud platforms, containerization, or enterprise deployment tools.
• Experience with scripting or automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar technologies.
• Experience using collaboration and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, JFrog, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience building technical communities of practice, mentoring programs, reusable knowledge repositories, training plans, or technical enablement initiatives.
• Experience managing customer escalations, scope discussions, delivery-risk conversations, cross-functional conflicts, or executive-level customer communications.
• PMP, ITIL, Security+, cloud, cybersecurity, or other technical leadership certifications.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus
