Job summary

Extreme Networks seeks a Solutions Engineer to deliver technology and product consulting across customer accounts. You will support technical sales, prepare in-depth presentations, and contribute to RFI/RFP responses while organizing PoC activities and shaping solution design.

The role emphasizes collaboration with virtual teams, partner engagements, and leadership in complex customer projects, with a focus on networking technologies and future trends.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation skills and pre-sales track record are essential.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing, VPNs, and security principles.
• Experience with cloud-based network management, SD-WAN, and automation APIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology and product consulting for account opportunities.
• Perform high-level and in-depth technical presentations for customers and partners.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and lead PoC activities.
• Design solutions meeting customer requirements and participate as a specialist on virtual teams.
