Job summary

Diagrid, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to quickly understand customer needs and design solutions using open-source and Diagrid technologies. You will listen, capture requirements, and write code with customers to drive success on brownfield and greenfield apps.

You will demo, build PoCs in multiple languages, and provide architecture guidance across cloud-native technologies. This remote-friendly startup role emphasizes collaboration, customer advocacy, and impact on product direction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Developer Advocate, or similar technical customer-facing role.
• Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in designing and building enterprise applications and solutions.
• Solid understanding of computer science principles with a focus on distributed systems.
• Solid developer experience in at least one of Java, .NET or Go.
• Good experience with Node and Python.
• Ability to shift priorities quickly and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker or other container based systems.
• Bonus: experience with public cloud provider(s).
• Bonus: experience with developer frameworks including ASP.NET Core, Express, Django, Spring Boot.
• Bonus: Experience contributing to open source software.
• Bonus: experience with Dapr (http://dapr.io).

Responsibilities
