Job summary

RFCUNY is seeking a Technology Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and maintain technology solutions supporting the CUNY CARES program. You will integrate systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HubSpot, build scalable workflows, and collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to meet student-service goals.

The role emphasizes data reporting, cloud services on Azure, and secure, accessible solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Five to seven years of professional experience in software engineering, systems implementation, application development, solutions engineering, or related technical roles.
• Experience working with APIs, databases, and cloud-based applications.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience managing technical projects and independently driving work from requirements gathering through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations across multiple technology platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot, and other university systems.
• Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of technology platforms used by CUNY CARES.
• Develop and maintain APIs, data exchange processes, and system interoperability solutions.
• Design and implement workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate and related technologies.
• Support Azure-based applications, services, and infrastructure used by CUNY CARES.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, and data management tools.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for existing applications and integrations.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and user support materials.
• Ensure technology solutions align with standards related to security, privacy, accessibility, and data governance.
• Other duties as assigned.
