Job summary

Automation Displays is seeking a Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical advisor, developing automation, integration, and control solutions for customer challenges. You will support the sales team with practical, manufacturable designs and coordinate with engineering and procurement to ensure feasibility.

The role involves reviewing specifications, providing application guidance, and assisting in cost estimation and proposal development, with occasional customer travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial control systems in a customer-facing role.
• Experience integrating control panels and OEM equipment into larger ecosystems.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, control panel construction, and building automation platforms.
• Exposure to commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, or lifecycle support of industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical advisor to customers and sales team.
• Develop practical controls, automation, and electrical solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical documents; provide guidance during solution development and quoting.
• Support estimating, proposals, and technical documentation creation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement to validate cost, manufacturability, and feasibility.
