Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, information technology or related technical field.
• Experience in customer-facing technology, solutions architecture or technical consulting is expected.
• Solid understanding of internet fundamentals: DNS, HTTP(S), APIs, networking and modern app architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to understand customer initiatives, architectures and outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales to develop technical strategies that create opportunities and drive growth.
• Translate business needs into secure, scalable Akamai-based architectures and demonstrate value.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to engineers, leaders and stakeholders.
• Lead demos, workshops, solution validations and proofs of concept to evaluate Akamai solutions.
• Use APIs, automation and AI-assisted tools to prototype and validate solutions.
• Explore AI, agents, APIs and cloud-native architectures to solve customer challenges.
