Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect focused on AI to advise and lead technical design for key decision-makers across customers. You will guide business strategies and maximize Akamai's products, emphasizing AI and emerging technologies.

You will share expertise across Akamai, supporting teams with AI insights and solutions. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing performance of AI

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Proficiency with scripting languages and development to help automation on platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to act as a technical consultant to customers and build strategic relationships.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable solutions and thought leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer AI and enterprise workload opportunities with sales teams.
• Design and implement Akamai Edge, Compute, and Security solutions, APIs and architectures for AI workloads.
• Guide customers in selecting AI frameworks, tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, developers, and stakeholders for AI solutions' success and performance.
• Lead innovation by advocating emerging trends and shaping product roadmaps with PM and R&D teams.
• Provide technical thought leadership to educate peers on best practices and trends.
• Establish technical thought leadership in AI and cloud/edge computing to support Akamai's growth.
