SEW-EURODRIVE - USA is seeking a technically adept role that blends engineering depth with strong customer engagement to deliver customized motion control solutions. The position covers pre‑sales, sales and post‑sales support, ensuring successful implementation and long‑term satisfaction with SEW‑EURODRIVE technologies.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics or 5+ years in motion control, and reside in the Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, or Spokane areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or related Engineering field preferred; or 5+ years of direct experience with motion control systems.
• Experience with servomotors, AC/DC drives, controls, PLCs, HMIs, encoders, and fieldbus (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT).
• Ability to take applications from concept through startup with troubleshooting and problem resolution across pre-sales, sales, and post-sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Promote and support Drives, Controls, and Automation product lines (24V/48V DC, VFDs, servomotors, motion controllers, PLCs, HMIs).
• Size, propose, and sell SEW‑EURODRIVE solutions across applications (conveying, pick-and-place, winding, hoisting).
• Support customers and SEW staff during startup, commissioning, and programming of drives and controls.
• Provide field service and application expertise as needed.
• Deliver internal and external product training; travel domestically and internationally, with possible overnight stays and occasional after-hours work.
