Job summary

Google’s gTech Users and Products (gUP) Core Third-Party Identity team seeks a Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer to balance business and technical constraints, develop innovative solutions, and act as a consultant to partners worldwide. You will build tools, automate products, oversee execution, and help shape Google product strategy for identity services.

Location options include New York, Atlanta, Boulder, with in-person interviews typical.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with web technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML), databases, or SQL queries.
Experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, Python, PHP, etc.).

Responsibilities

Analyze and scope technical solutions for the roll out of life-cycle events for Google’s 1P/3P authentication and authorization solutions such as Sign-in With Google and OAuth.
Develop Sales Engineering activities with BD for partners (e.g., pitch, partner technical objection handling, implementation troubleshooting, guides).
Identify technical gaps, recognize patterns, and surface opportunities for solution reuse or new innovations to help.
Write technical integration documentation and communications to developers/partners. Implement tools and/or dashboards to track and improve operational efficiency.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external partners to provide technical and business feedback and deliver technical solutions.
