Job summary

Google is hiring a Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer within gTech Users and Products (gUP) Core Third-Party Identity. This role balances business and partner needs with technical constraints, develops innovative solutions, and acts as a partner and consultant across global partnerships.

You will build tools, automate products, and oversee technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.
  • Experience in web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, XML), databases, or SQL queries.
  • Experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, Python, PHP, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and scope out technical solutions needed for the roll out of life-cycle events (e.g., launch, deprecation, migration) for Google’s 1P/3P authentication and authorization solutions such as Sign-in With Google and OAuth. Partner with PM/Eng/PSMs to manage rollouts end-to-end.
  • Develop Sales Engineering activities with BD for partners (e.g., pitch, partner technical objection handling, implementation troubleshooting, guides).
  • Identify technical gaps, recognize patterns, and surface opportunities for solution reuse or new innovations to help.
  • Write technical integration documentation and communications to developers/partners. Implement tools and/or dashboards to track and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external partners to provide technical and business feedback and deliver technical solutions. Develop subject matter expertise in the Identity spaces to provide deeper advice and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $102000 - $144000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
