Job summary

Google’s gTech team is hiring a Staff Customer and Partner Solutions Engineer to lead consulting for partners and customers, shaping scalable technical solutions and strong relationships.

You will deliver innovative guidance, perform demos, and coordinate feedback to product teams while enabling data-driven decisions. Location options include Chicago and New York, with in-person interviews common.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP).
• 8 years of experience coding in one or more languages (Java, C/C++, Python).
• Experience troubleshooting with internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, CS, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 9 years of experience in analytics roles such as BI, data analytics, or statistics (preferred).
• 9 years of experience with customer-side web technologies and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) (preferred).
• 9 years of experience with cloud technologies (preferred).
• 9 years of experience using ML and building solutions (preferred).
• 9 years of experience working with systems (Linux/Unix) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions as a leader, providing consulting services to our partners and customers.
• Guide partners in day-to-day challenges, delivering scalable solutions and troubleshooting issues.
• Drive prototypes, demos, and proofs-of-concept for engineers to marketing professionals.
• Oversee implementation reviews and advocate for product features with cross-functional teams.
• Lead efforts to leverage data sources to provide insights for decision-making.
