Job summary

Destaco in Hamilton, OH is seeking an Applications Engineer to evaluate field data and generate competitive quotes for custom fluid transfer systems, including loading arms and terminal layouts. You will provide advanced CAD designs and 3D models to meet customer specifications and engineering standards while aligning with sales and production.

This role focuses on accurate, economical solutions, cross-functional collaboration, and timely quote turnaround.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSME/BSMET).
• Two years of engineering or technical quoting experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (Creo/ProE preferred) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD preferred).
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and Boiler Pressure Vessel Code.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes for custom loading arms and terminal layouts.
• Create BOMs and support manufacturing to transfer designs to production.
• Collaborate with sales to translate field requirements into viable options.
• Achieve KPI targets for quote accuracy and turnaround time.
