Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer to join its global Solution Engineering team. You will partner with customers, Account Executives and Professional Services to design multi-product solutions that address business needs with Salesforce technologies.

The role emphasizes discovery, analysis, and transformational pitches using live product demonstrations to validate solutions across Salesforce product lines. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS required.
• Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology.
• Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Align innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accounts with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct business development, operations and IT strategy work, and product demonstrations.
• Deliver compelling demonstrations and ensure solutions address customer requirements.
• Translate customer needs into Salesforce-based solutions and assist with discovery and analysis.
• Lead cross-functional solution guides and align them to opportunity strategy.
• Travel as needed based on territory alignment and region.
