Job summary

Zuora is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer to drive the technical win for billing and quote-to-cash opportunities. You will own account health, design QTC architectures, and deliver proofs of concept using APIs and integrations.

You’ll translate complex monetization models into business value for executives and technical teams alike. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in presales or sales engineering, deep CPQ/billing experience, and comfort with AI-native environments.

Qualifications

5+ years in Sales Engineering, Presales, or Solution Architecture with hands-on wins.
Direct billing/quote-to-cash experience spanning CPQ, billing, and revenue.
Fluency in consumption/usage-based billing (metering, rating, mediation).
Comfort in AI-native environments and monetization of usage-based products.
Technical depth with APIs, integrations, and data reconciliation.
Telecom experience a strong plus.
Strong communication for engineers, finance, and leaders.
Structured sales methodology experience (e.g., MEDDIC) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Drive the technical win through enterprise cycles with design and differentiation.
Own account technical health as a trusted partner, diagnosing issues and guiding architecture.
Scope and build QTC solutions spanning CPQ, billing, and revenue.
Build proofs of concept with APIs, data, and integrations.
Design monetization for consumption and AI-native products and demonstrate value.
Deliver technical presentations to stakeholders including senior leadership.
Support adoption and identify expansion opportunities within accounts.
