Job summary

Redpanda Data seeks a Solutions Engineer to qualify opportunities and provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and evaluations.

You will work with the sales team to introduce Redpanda to potential customers, lead briefings, build POC, run live demos, and prototype integrations, collaborating with product, engineering and support to address customer challenges.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years leading presentations, gathering requirements, and teaching users.
• Prototyping solutions in Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript.
• Strong background in modern infrastructure and streaming tech (Kafka preferred).
• Proven ability to build relationships with partners, customers, and open-source users.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and solution briefings, build POC, and run live demos.
• Prototype Redpanda integrations and demonstrate technical concepts.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and support to resolve customer challenges.
• Travel to meet customers, attend events, or conferences as needed.
