• 5+ years of Systems, Infrastructure, Cloud, or Network Engineering experience.
• Proven ability to independently lead migrations and implementations start‑to‑finish.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking and infra tech.
• Experience as the primary technical resource on customer‑facing projects.
• Must obtain approved certifications within 180 days (various options listed).

Insight Global is seeking a Solutions Engineer for a top Managed Services and Professional Services client. This candidate will own customer technology projects from kickoff through completion, acting as the primary hands‑on technical resource throughout the implementation lifecycle. They will lead cloud, infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft-focused migrations while partnering closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers to deliver high-quality solutions and successful customer outcomes.

Day-to-Day

Lead customer technology implementations from planning through completionOwn cloud, infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft-focused migrationsPartner with Project Managers, Solution Architects, clients, and internal teamsServe as the primary hands‑on technical resource throughout implementationsTroubleshoot technical issues and drive projects to successful completionMaintain technical documentation and overall project ownershipEnsure projects meet quality, budget, and customer satisfaction expectations

Pay for this position is between 30 and 35 / HR

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Systems, Infrastructure, Cloud, or Network Engineering experience, preferably within an MSP environmentProven ability to independently lead technical migrations and implementations from start to finishStrong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and infrastructure technologiesExperience serving as the primary technical resource on customer-facing projectsStrong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and overall project ownership skillsMust currently possess or obtain an approved certification within 180 days, such as AZ-305, CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, VCP, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, FCSS in Network Security, or an accepted equivalentMSP, Professional Services, Consulting, or Project Engineering backgroundExperience leading M365, Azure, server, application, Teams Phone, or network migrationsFirewall deployment and switch refresh experienceInfrastructure modernization experienceExperience mentoring junior engineersExperience identifying automation opportunities
