In this fast-paced role, you’ll guide proposals, create budgets, and deliver compelling QBRs while supporting multiple client engagements in a remote work setup with occasional travel.

Working Hours:Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm local hours with after hours as needed to support clients.

Location:Work from home and must be located in PST with a strong preference for California, Washington state or Seattle.

Travel: Up to 20%

Who you are

A proactive and independent presales Solutions Engineer who combines technical expertise, business acumen, and critical thinking to design solutions that align technology with client business objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Solutions Engineer develops secure, scalable, and outcome-focused solutions across managed services, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, networking, data protection, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives while partnering with sales, delivery, and client stakeholders to drive customer success.

You know how to:

• Consult on the sale, design, and delivery of IT products and solutions for projects including but not limited to IT managed service plans, cloud migrations, and AI solutions.
• Assess existing IT environments and confidently articulate recommendations in an illustrative manner to current and prospective clients.
• Develop detailed Statement of Work documents for Client and internal guidance
• Create budgets that map to the client or prospective clients’ budget, IT, and business goals.
• Analyze, prepare, and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for each client in your assigned portfolio.
• Participate with the sales team on early-stage prospect interactions.
• Partner with the Client Executives, Account Managers, Sales Operations, and field staff to deliver excellent service to current and prospective clients.
• Work in a fast-paced Managed IT Services environment working on multiple, concurrent client proposals.

You have presales skills in the following technologies:

• MS Office 365 - Entra ID, Intune, MFA, etc.
• Microsoft Copilot & Copilot Cowork
• Microsoft-based servers and workstations
• Private and public cloud services - Azure, AWS, GCP, Nutanix
• AI technologies and adoption
• Cybersecurity services - EDR, MDR, SIEM, SOC, SOAR, etc.
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Network firewalls and managed switches
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks - SOC2, CMMC, etc.
• Existing Certifications are a plus - Microsoft, AWS

Pay and Benefits

This is a full-time positionlocatedin the United States and performed remotely with some travel.

Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range:$115,000+ annually along with On Target Incentives (OTI), less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis(The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees]skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role. Note thatthe majority ofindividuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)
