Summary:

The Solutions Designer I supports the development and delivery of Population Health EMR-based and other solutions, collaborating with ISD teams and stakeholders to understand clinical and operational needs and determine implementation plans.

The Solutions Designer I leads planning and project management for delivering existing solutions to new stakeholders, with support from the Solutions Manager or Senior Designer. They provide consultation and overview of existing solutions to interested groups and participate as a key contributor on larger, more complex projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering: Leverage knowledge of existing tools and stakeholder needs to prepare technical requirements for agile processes. Collaborate closely with the ISD team to ensure work progression and address barriers.
2. Project Management: Plan and oversee projects when leading, track projects within larger teams, identify and communicate barriers and risks, provide status updates, and manage multiple projects.
3. Solutions Consultation: Provide overviews of existing tools to internal and external stakeholders seeking solutions.
4. Quality/Process Improvement: Use basic QI and process improvement tools to pilot or deploy solutions with small stakeholder groups, ensuring tools are used effectively to improve processes and outcomes.

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's + 2 years experience in project management, process or quality improvement, EMR experience (user, development, implementation, or training)
• Master's + 1 year experience in the same areas

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Experience with Epic or other EMRs, clinical operations, patient care, care management, or population health.
