Salary Range: $93,750 - $206,250

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,750-$206,250 plus bonus eligibility and other elements of our total rewards package. The range reflects the amount BNSF | Tech reasonably expects to pay based on role level, scope, and responsibilities. Individual compensation depends on location, skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, BNSF offers a comprehensive benefits package.

As a SAP Solutions Engineer, you will:

• Assist in maintaining scalable SAP systems.
• Support prototyping of new SAP landscapes to meet evolving business needs.
• Contribute to transitioning towards S/4HANA and other SAP innovations.
• Develop in-house solutions under supervision.
• Provide technical support to mid-level and senior consultants.
• Participate in design sessions and configuration reviews.
• Ensure SAP application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Address bottlenecks and bugs, devising mitigation solutions.
• Implement testing processes.
• Collaborate with teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with emerging SAP technologies and trends.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within SAP teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the US.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2+ years as an SAP techno-functional consultant, focusing on S/4HANA support and implementation.
• Experience with at least 2 SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, PS, FAM, HCM).
• Experience in SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Skills in SAP ABAP, Java, HANA/AMDP coding.
• Proficiency with testing automation tools like SAP Solution Document, Test suite, TBOMs, Worksoft.
• Knowledge of SAP technical components (ABAP, HANA, BTP, UI5, PI).
• Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Understanding of S/4HANA functionalities, best practices, and integrations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to mentor junior consultants and contribute to SAP practice improvements.
• Experience in Railroad or transportation industries and SAP solutions for these sectors.
• Ability to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.
• Participation in evaluating new SAP technologies.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Agreement not to require future assistance from BNSF for employment-based immigration status.
