Job summary

Compeer Financial seeks a senior leader to supervise the Home Solutions and Data and Reporting teams, overseeing system configuration, project prioritization and the technology suite. You will manage BI and day-to-day reporting for the department and lead compliance reviews of mortgage-related workflows.

You will guide the pricing desk and regulatory reporting, coaching remote staff and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, management or related field, or Associates' degree and an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Prior experience with loan origination systems, appraisal reporting (section/township/parcel), and credit underwriting and title principles.
• Prior experience with loan origination suite of products, including setting roadmaps, strategy and direction.
• Advanced-level experience in consumer lending in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry.
• Leadership skills to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead remote team members.
• Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Client service experience, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM programs.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles and consumer compliance regulation (TRID, RESPA, Fair Lending, ECOA, etc).

Responsibilities

• Hires, develops, motivates, coaches, evaluates, trains and rewards department team members.

• Communicates business expectations and goals to team and is responsible for team's results.
• Organizes and conducts regular team meetings and calls to remain up to date on department situations or topics.
• Manages team work loads and adjusts as needed to remain efficient.
• Manages project prioritization, execution, and training for the Compeer Home origination suite of products.
• Develops, implements and maintains efficient processes related to technology updates, system configuration, and team training.
• Reviews work completed by the team to ensure industry standards and regulations are met to assist in reducing exceptions.
• Coordinates and leads team to review investor guidelines to ensure loans sold to Freddie Mac and Farmer Mac meet requirements; review sampling of loan transactions for compliance with Farm Credit Administration and regulations.
• Leads and assists team with sourcing data for market intelligence and sales lead generation.
• Reviews reporting to ensure compliance with Farm Credit Administration, Consumer lending regulations, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Military Lending Act, HPML, RESPA Servicing compliance.
