About Us
At digitalJ2, we help B2B companies scale revenue operations by implementing and optimizing HubSpot across marketing, sales, service, and operations. We work with teams that want more than a tool setup; they want a scalable operating system with clean data, strong process, high adoption, and measurable outcomes.
The Role
The Solutions Consultant (SC) delivers HubSpot builds and enablement inside a POD led by a Lead Solutions Consultant (LSC). You translate business requirements and solution designs into clean, scalable configurations, migrations, automations, and reporting. You work from the revenue architecture and design direction provided by the LSC and Solutions Architect and turn that into well-documented builds that drive early adoption and measurable impact.
What Success Looks Like
- Configurations, workflows, and reports are reliable, well-documented, and low in rework
- Implementation and post-launch milestones are delivered on time and within budgeted hours
- Users understand and adopt the systems and processes you help build
- The LSC, SA, and POD can depend on you as a go-to builder who keeps work organized and communicates clearly
- Clients experience early IMPACT and are set up for successful RevOps retainers and expansions
What You'll Do
Delivery Execution
- Configure HubSpot objects, properties, pipelines, views, workflows, lists, forms, SLAs, and dashboards/reports according to solution designs
- Implement the designed data model and lifecycle (standard + custom objects where applicable)
- Execute data migrations (mapping, imports, validation, deduplication) and connect approved integrations where specified
- Maintain strong project hygiene in Asana (tasks, status updates, time logging, dependencies)
- Document configuration decisions, edge cases, and SOPs so others can understand, support, and extend your builds
Client Enablement & Adoption
- Lead or co-lead role-based trainings for end users (sales reps, CS, marketing, ops, etc.)
- Create enablement materials (Loom walkthroughs, how-to guides, screenshots, SOPs)
- Participate in weekly client working sessions (BRAINS), demoing progress, answering questions, and capturing decisions/next steps
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): manage feedback loops, apply updates, and confirm Definition of Done for launch
Collaboration, Quality & Standards
- Partner with the LSC on clarifying requirements/acceptance criteria and translating discovery notes into build tasks
- Apply design patterns and guidance from the Solutions Architect; elevate complex or risky items for review
- Perform structured QA on your own work and peer builds (edge cases, error paths, data integrity, reporting accuracy, UX)
- Follow and help improve checklists, playbooks, and reusable assets so delivery becomes more repeatable over time
Handoff & Early Success
- Participate in sales -> delivery handoffs to understand scope, assumptions, constraints, and risks
- Maintain build documentation that supports handoffs between Implementation, Post-Launch, and RevOps phases
- Support early client milestones (launch, Month-1, Month-3) by explaining what was built, helping interpret early metrics, and identifying quick wins
About You
You are likely a strong fit if you have:
- 2+ years hands-on HubSpot implementation experience (Sales Hub and/or Service Hub; Marketing Hub a plus)
- Strong build fundamentals: CRM data model thinking, properties, pipelines, automation logic, reporting
- Real migration experience: mapping, imports, dedupe strategy, validation, and change management
- A quality mindset: you test your work, document it, and reduce rework
- Comfortable running or supporting client-facing working sessions and training
- Strong written communication: specs, SOPs, notes, Loom scripts
- Strong delivery hygiene: you manage tasks, dependencies, and time in JIRA without being chased
This Role Is Likely Not a Fit If…
- You avoid detail-oriented build work or dislike structured QA/testing
- You do not want to log time, keep JIRA updated, or work from defined acceptance criteria
- You struggle to explain technical configurations to non-technical users
- You prefer working completely solo (this role is POD-based and highly collaborative)
Compensation
This is a non-quota role with Base Salary + Bonus compensation. Bonus is tied to quarterly delivery performance
- Work on high-value, outcomes-driven HubSpot implementations
- Learn within a POD model with strong LSC + SA guidance and playbooks
- Build repeatable delivery systems that scale (process, assets, QA, enablement)
- Grow into more senior delivery roles (LSC, SA) over time
