Job summary

GTT is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join their Sales team, providing technical leadership and support throughout the sales process. The successful candidate will engage with customers to identify needs, design tailored solutions, and assist with technical documentation, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Telecommunications and/or IT.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales/Solutions Architecting.
  • CCNA, MCP, MCSE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with customers and prospects, face-to-face or remotely.
  • Creating technical documentation of solution designs.
  • Providing support throughout the customer lifecycle.

RoleSummary:

TheSolutionsConsultantisanintegralpartoftheSalesteam,providingtechnicalleadershipandsupportthroughoutthesalesprocessandcustomerlifecycle,bothcustomer-facingandinternallywithGTT’sdelivery,operations,engineering,andsupportorganizations.SolutionsConsultantsprovidesupporttoAccountRepresentatives,AccountManagers,AccountDirectors,and/orChannelManagers.

DutiesandResponsibilities:

  • Meetswithcustomersandprospects,face-to-faceorremotelyasrequired
  • ExpertlydescribesanddemonstratesGTT’sproducts,services,andcapabilities
  • Discoversandidentifiescustomerneedsandrequirementsbyleadinginteractivesessionswithcustomers
  • Collaborativelydesignsproductand/orservicessolutionssatisfyingcustomerneedsandrequirements
  • Createstechnicaldocumentationofsolutiondesigns,includingdetaileddiagramscapturingsolutionelements,topology,andkeyparameters
  • Workswithothersalessupportrolestoensuresolutionsarequotedandorderedcorrectlyandaccurately
  • Providestechnicalsupportthroughoutcustomerlifecycle,includingchangeorders,renewals,upgrades/refreshes,periodicbusinessreviews,etc.
  • AuthorstechnicalresponsestoRFIs/RFPs
