RoleSummary:
TheSolutionsConsultantisanintegralpartoftheSalesteam,providingtechnicalleadershipandsupportthroughoutthesalesprocessandcustomerlifecycle,bothcustomer-facingandinternallywithGTT’sdelivery,operations,engineering,andsupportorganizations.SolutionsConsultantsprovidesupporttoAccountRepresentatives,AccountManagers,AccountDirectors,and/orChannelManagers.
DutiesandResponsibilities:
- Meetswithcustomersandprospects,face-to-faceorremotelyasrequired
- ExpertlydescribesanddemonstratesGTT’sproducts,services,andcapabilities
- Discoversandidentifiescustomerneedsandrequirementsbyleadinginteractivesessionswithcustomers
- Collaborativelydesignsproductand/orservicessolutionssatisfyingcustomerneedsandrequirements
- Createstechnicaldocumentationofsolutiondesigns,includingdetaileddiagramscapturingsolutionelements,topology,andkeyparameters
- Workswithothersalessupportrolestoensuresolutionsarequotedandorderedcorrectlyandaccurately
- Providestechnicalsupportthroughoutcustomerlifecycle,includingchangeorders,renewals,upgrades/refreshes,periodicbusinessreviews,etc.
- AuthorstechnicalresponsestoRFIs/RFPs
- ProvidestrainingandtechnicalsupporttoSalesassociates
- ConveyskeymarketplacelearningstoProductManagement
- EvangelizesGTTatmarketingeventsandtradeshows

RequiredExperience/Qualifications:
- Strongtechnicalunderstandingofdatanetworkingarchitectures,standards,protocols,andequipment,including:

- IPLANs,includingEthernetswitching,VLANs,subnetting,andLayer3switching
