Job summary

Disney Experiences is seeking a senior technology leader to guide architecture, platform engineering, and cloud strategy across Disney Cruise Line and Signature Experiences. You will establish architectural direction, drive engineering excellence, and partner with product, data, program, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and integrated solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of progressive technology experience in software engineering, systems design, architecture, platform engineering, or related leadership.
Experience leading large-scale technology initiatives and multidisciplinary teams.
2+ years of people management leading software engineers, architects, and tech partners.
Strong expertise across modern cloud platforms, distributed systems, and web/mobile technologies.
Proven ability to establish architectural standards enabling scalable, secure, resilient solutions.
Experience delivering products using Agile, DevOps, and modern practices.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
Proven ability to lead in matrixed environments and align tech with business goals.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, integration, quality, automation, and operations for Disney platforms.
Develop and maintain strategic technology roadmaps aligning with business goals.
Establish governance, standards, and best practices for solution design.
Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams across locations.
Engage with stakeholders for resource planning, architecture reviews, and quality oversight.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and platform modernization.
Shape domain strategy across web, mobile, cloud, AI, and enterprise platforms.
Lead architecture reviews, assessments, and modernization efforts to improve platform capabilities.
