Job summary

Disney Experiences (DX) seeks a senior technology leader to drive architecture, platform engineering, and enterprise solutions across Disney Signature Experiences. Report to the Director of Software Engineering and guide cross‑functional teams in an agile, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities include setting technical direction, establishing standards, and delivering scalable, secure systems that align with business goals and guest experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology leadership roles across software engineering, architecture, or platform engineering.
• Experience leading large, complex tech initiatives and cross‑functional teams.
• 2+ years of people management leading engineers, architects, and partners.
• Proven ability to set architectural standards for scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, integration, quality, automation, and operations.
• Develop strategic technology roadmaps to modernize platforms and reduce legacy risk.
• Lead architectural direction, governance, and solution design aligned with business strategy.
• Mentor cross‑functional teams across locations and engagement models.
• Engage stakeholders for resource planning, architecture reviews, and quality oversight.
• Drive engineering practices improvements, delivery efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Shape domain and technology strategy across web, mobile, cloud, AI, and enterprise platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, assessments, and modernization efforts to enhance platform capabilities.
• Build partnerships with vendors and third‑party providers to meet Disney standards.
• Monitor emerging tech trends to spur growth and innovation.
