Job summary

DataVizion, a Midwest-based technology partner, is seeking a Solutions Architect (Systems & Storage). You will split time roughly 50/50 between presales solution design and post-sales project implementation, owning the outcome from whiteboard to go-live.

You’ll work with clients to architect compute, virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud solutions, and lead hands-on deployments. This role requires onsite client visits across Nebraska and Iowa, with a strong emphasis on security,

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or senior engineer focusing on systems and storage.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms AWS and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of security, networking, and infrastructure best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Presales: design systems and storage architectures to solve business problems.
• Create detailed technical specs, blueprints and proposals for clients.
• Run PoC testing and provide honest, data-driven recommendations.
• Implementation: lead hands-on deployment and ensure interoperability.
• Maintain secure data flow and monitor performance post-deployment.
