Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Salesforce CPQ solution architecture, including pricing and discounting strategies, product configuration, and quote-to-order processes.
• Develop architecture artifacts such as data flow diagrams, integration specifications, and governance documentation.
• Provide architectural governance for Apex development, Flow automation, and SOQL optimization.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect to lead solution design, architecture, and delivery for a large-scale enterprise Salesforce implementation. The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce CPQ expertise with strong integration experience, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

This role requires a strong techno-functional leader who can partner with business stakeholders, drive architecture decisions, and provide governance across Salesforce CPQ and related platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Salesforce CPQ solution architecture, including:
• Pricing and discounting strategies
• Product configuration
• Quote-to-order processes
• Design and implement complex pricing solutions, including:
• Rebate and incentive structures
• Develop architecture artifacts such as:
• Data flow diagrams
• Integration specifications
• Configuration and governance documentation
• Design scalable security models, including:
• Role-based access controls
• Permission set strategies
• Partner and customer portal access controls
• Sensitive pricing visibility requirements
• Provide architectural governance for:
• Apex development
• Flow automation
• SOQL optimization
• Governor limit management
• Guide integration design and governance across Salesforce and downstream enterprise systems.

Stakeholder Management & Delivery

• Serve as the primary technical lead during solution design and implementation phases.
• Facilitate architecture and discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Ensure solution quality, testing standards, and deployment readiness across environments.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Salesforce architecture experience in enterprise environments.
• 8+ years serving in a Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect or equivalent leadership role.
• 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick/SBQQ) experience.
• Strong expertise with:

• Amendment and renewal processes

Industry Experience

• Experience with Manufacturing Cloud preferred.

• Strong background supporting manufacturing, high-tech, hardware, semiconductor, or similar industries.

• Large data volume and SOQL optimization
• Experience designing and supporting integrations between Salesforce CPQ and:
