Job summary

Medline is seeking a Generalist Architect for an IT portfolio (Logistics, Sales, Ecom, etc.) in Chicago. You will create solution designs for new capabilities and lead troubleshooting for operational initiatives across the portfolio.

You’ll translate business needs into architectural blueprints, drive an actionable architectural runway with product and project managers, and influence decisions at executive levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information-technology, systems engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience across multiple IT solution development disciplines.
• Experience presenting to senior executives and technical audiences.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, .NET, PHP, ABAP.
• Experience with MSSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, and HANA databases.

Responsibilities

• Leads evaluation, design, and analysis for solutions architecture across portfolio applications.
• Translates business requirements into architectural blueprints and roadmaps.
• Collaborates with product owners and managers to ensure architectural runway.
• Supports upgrades, patches, outages, and other operational initiatives.
