Job summary

USG, a Chicago-based building products leader, is pursuing a Sr. Solution Architect to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

You will own the roadmap, define architecture across data platforms, web systems, eCommerce, CRM, and integration, and act as the bridge between business leaders and delivery teams. You will collaborate with global IT and business stakeholders, mentor developers and analysts, and ensure architecture aligns with standards while enabling

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology roles with 5+ years in lead solution architecture.
• Proven experience translating business strategy into technical architecture and phased roadmaps.
• End-to-end customer-facing tech solutions across CMS, PIM, CRM, eCommerce, DAM, and CDP.
• Experience in global organizations with standardized tech stacks and governance.
• Strong communication and leadership in a matrixed global environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solution architecture and roadmaps.
• Define and own architecture across data, web, eCommerce, CRM, and integration domains.
• Develop architecture docs, data models, and process flows for developers and analytics teams.
• Collaborate with Knauf to set standards and evaluate technologies against strategic direction.
• Own architecture through delivery, guiding teams from concept to deployment.
