Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related field.
• Ten to fifteen years of cross-domain software engineering design and development experience.
• Familiar with Java/J2EE methodologies and software delivery tools.
• Possess sound Java programming skills.
• Experience with open-source frameworks such as Spring, Angular, React, Vue and JMS.
• Experience with client side and server-side JavaScript frameworks such as NextJS and NestJS.
• Good understanding of the low-code platforms like Salesforce Lightning.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, SOA and Microservices, SQL, and Databases.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Planning: stay abreast of technologies, assess value to GATX, and recommend adoption.
• Implementation: translate requirements into technical architecture and guide external resources.
• Process Improvement and Architecture Governance: advocate EA process and define guiding principles.
• Document architecture design and analysis work.
