Job summary

Astrion in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Solutions Architect for Exploration & Lunar Presence to translate customer needs into tailored, winning technical solutions. You will work with internal teams, capture staff, and proposal teams to align capabilities with mission goals in the federal government contracting space.

The ideal candidate brings 12–15 years in solution architecture or 10–13 with a master’s, plus aerospace experience and ability to communicate complex concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 12–15 years in solution architecture or related roles.
• Master’s degree with 10–13 years is acceptable as an alternative.
• Experience in the federal government sector and aerospace is required.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Active security clearance (or ability to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored solutions aligning customer needs with Astrion's capabilities.
• Contribute to capability catalog and marketing materials with capture teams.
• Design and research advanced applications to drive innovation and opportunities.
• Support strategic solutioning with leadership to position emerging technologies.
• Build relationships with SMEs, technical teams and stakeholders.
• Lead technical work and capability briefings for business development.
• Monitor government contracting trends to inform solution strategy.
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with clear documentation.
