Job summary

LARC Staffing is seeking a Solutions Architect for a Federal role based in Huntsville, AL. The architect will define target-state architecture, design end-to-end technical solutions for mission-critical requirements, and provide oversight across the full software lifecycle.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in related roles, with DoD/government experience and solid BPMN and Agile/DevSecOps background. Active security clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of software engineering or architecture experience.
• Experience designing and governing DoD/U.S. Government IT solutions.
• Experience as a Business Process Engineer or analyst plus architecture.
• Lean Six Sigma or BPM credentials are a plus.
• Cloud experience, IL4/IL5 preferred.
• Familiar with Agile and DevSecOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state enterprise architecture and connect it to strategy and roadmaps.
• Design end-to-end technical solutions addressing mission requirements.
• Govern architectural standards and reference patterns across the portfolio.
• Model and optimize business processes using BPMN.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs.
• Provide technical oversight across the software development lifecycle.
• Lead discovery sessions and architecture reviews with diverse teams.
• Ensure security, RMF/ATO alignment, and data governance.
