We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect – AWS & Artificial Intelligence. This role is ideal for a technology leader who combines deep AWS cloud architecture expertise with hands-on experience designing and delivering Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions for enterprise clients.

What you will do at Sogeti:

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for partnering with sales, account management, and delivery teams to develop innovative cloud and AI solutions that address client business challenges. This individual will provide technical leadership across pre-sales, solution design, and delivery engagements while helping drive business growth within our AWS and AI services portfolio.

The ideal candidate will possess strong consulting experience, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and value-driven technology solutions. This role will be client-facing and is expected to maintain approximately 50% billable utilization through direct participation in delivery engagements.

What you will bring:

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud solutions for mid-market and enterprise clients.
• Lead architecture strategy across cloud transformation, application modernization, data modernization, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Define target-state architectures, implementation roadmaps, and migration strategies aligned with client business objectives.
• Establish architecture standards, best practices, governance frameworks, and security controls.
• Conduct architecture assessments and provide recommendations for cloud adoption and optimization.

Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI

• Design and implement AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solutions leveraging AWS services and modern AI platforms.
• Identify and develop GenAI use cases that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes.
• Architect solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, vector databases, and intelligent automation technologies.
• Guide clients through AI adoption strategies, responsible AI practices, and governance considerations.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and provide strategic recommendations on their applicability.
• Lead AWS migration initiatives including infrastructure, application, and data platform modernization programs.
• Architect cloud-native solutions utilizing microservices, containers, serverless technologies, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop migration strategies, business cases, and cloud optimization recommendations.
• Support infrastructure modernization, platform engineering, DevOps, and FinOps initiatives.

Client Engagement & Consulting

• Serve as a trusted advisor to client technology leaders, architects, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead technical discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and solution strategy sessions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solution roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build strong client relationships and help expand strategic consulting opportunities.
• Partner with account executives and consulting leaders to support new business pursuits and client growth initiatives.
• Develop solution strategies, proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and technical presentations.
• Participate in client presentations, executive briefings, and architectural solution reviews.
• Support AWS and AI-related business development opportunities across the region.
• Contribute to practice development, solution accelerators, and reusable assets.

Delivery & Practice Leadership

• Actively participate in project delivery while maintaining approximately 50% billable utilization.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, developers, and data scientists to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Mentor architects, consultants, and technical team members.
• Contribute to internal capability development, thought leadership, and innovation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, solution architecture, consulting, or enterprise technology leadership roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• Proven experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, and/or Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and modern application design.
• Experience leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Experience developing and presenting technical solutions to executive stakeholders and clients.
• Strong business consulting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience working within a consulting, professional services, or systems integration environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenSearch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and other AWS-native services.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, and Generative AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of data engineering, analytics, data governance, and modern data platform architecture.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and platform engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or Google Cloud environments.
• Experience supporting mid-market clients across multiple industries.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, risk management, and governance best practices.
