Job description

Oxiyen builds the business applications that enterprises actually need. Commerce, data, automation. Connected to the systems they already run on. Small team. Senior people. No handoffs.

The Role

You're accountable for the technical vision behind complex client engagements. This means understanding how their business actually operates, defining the data models and process flows, and designing the architecture that makes their systems work together.

Your designs become the blueprint for the team. You're also accountable for how they hold up in production. This isn't theoretical work. You're in the room with the client when the hard decisions are made.

What You'll Do
  • Lead discovery workshops with clients to understand their business processes, system landscape, and technical requirements
  • Design application architecture: data models, APIs, system integrations, cloud infrastructure, exception handling, monitoring
  • Document architectural decisions, data flows, and integration patterns for the development team and the client
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring solutions align with architectural principles and best practices
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and tools to solve client problems and improve internal capabilities
  • Stay accountable for the performance, scalability, and security of solutions in production
What We're Looking For
  • Deep experience with enterprise application architecture: ERPs, middleware, commerce platforms, cloud infrastructure
  • Proven ability to lead technical discussions with clients and translate business requirements into technical designs
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, API design, and system integration patterns
  • Experience with a variety of cloud platforms, ideally AWS and Azure
Nice to Have
  • Hands-on experience integrating with enterprise ERP systems at the API and data level
  • Experience with B2B commerce operations (quote-to-cash, procurement, order management)
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code
What We Offer
  • You work directly with clients from day one. No bench time. No shadow period.
  • Your designs ship and run in production. You're accountable for how they perform.
  • Home office and equipment budget to set up your workspace properly.
  • The stack: ERPs, commerce platforms, cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
Your First 90 Days

First week: Meet the team, review active client architectures, and start building context on how we scope and deliver engagements.

By day 30: You're leading discovery on a client project. You've mapped systems, documented business rules, and defined the architecture the team will build against.

By day 90: You own the technical relationship with a client. The team builds from your architecture. You're accountable for how it holds up in production.

What We Work With
  • Tools: GitHub, Jira, Slack, Figma
  • Compliance: SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS
  • ERPs: SAP, Infor, NetSuite, Epicor, and others
