Job summary

The Timberline Group is seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect to lead and guide architectural direction across business applications and platforms. You will partner with engineering and product leadership to align technical vision with delivery goals and ensure adherence to standards during implementation.

You will bridge product and engineering, translating high-level concepts into implementable designs while mentoring teams on engineering best practices and strategic initiatives.

• The Enterprise Solution Architect is a leader within our Architecture team structure and in collaboration with development teams and other technical lead resources creates POCs, defines and communicates best practices, approaches and direction for the technical aspects of our business applications and solutions. This role partners with Engineering Leadership and Product Leadership to assist in establishing a technical vision and works closely with delivery teams to ensure adherence to vision and guidelines during implementation.
• The Enterprise Solution Architect will be a bridge between Product and Engineering and navigate between high level concepts and implementation details.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• The Enterprise Solution Architect is a leader within our Architecture team structure and in collaboration with development teams and other technical lead resources creates POCs, defines and communicates best practices, approaches and direction for the technical aspects of our business applications and solutions. This role partners with Engineering Leadership and Product Leadership to assist in establishing a technical vision and works closely with delivery teams to ensure adherence to vision and guidelines during implementation.
• The Enterprise Solution Architect will be a bridge between Product and Engineering and navigate between high level concepts and implementation details.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Proof of Concepts with new technologies and frameworks.
• Provide Solution Designs, High Level Work Estimates, breakdown of High-Level Tasks, Define Project and Technology standards
• Perform Design Reviews, Code Reviews and Signoff on Production Readiness
• Mentor development staff on Engineering practices and occasionally participates in strategic Engineering Trailblazing Initiatives writing production quality code.
• Work with Product Managers to craft technical vision and signoff on Requirements, Use Cases and Design Mocks
• Maps features being requested as part of Enhancements/New Initiatives into hierarchical business capabilities.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including an ability to interact and communicate effectively at various levels of the organization.
• Able to serve as a facilitator in group discussions designed to resolve issues, elicit project requirements, or design solution approaches.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced experience in AWS, .NET, API design and deployment, Single Sign On products such as (Okta, OneLogin, Identity Server), Front End technologies such as (JQuery, Angular),Web Development and Server side frameworks
• Advanced experience in Relational Database Design, Analytics, Data Lakes
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
• Familiarity with Business Applications such as NetSuite and Hubspot
• Advanced experience in UML, modeling tools, Design patterns and Architecture Reviews
