Job summary

Synstack Technologies is seeking an experienced ECommerce Solution Architect to guide a composable commerce discovery, platform assessment, and modernization roadmap for a leading U.S. retail brand.

You will drive architecture across Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools, Shopify Plus/Hydrogen, and more, with a focus on PIM, catalog, search, and checkout modernization. Strong client-facing communication and workshop facilitation are essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in eCommerce with 5+ years as a Solution Architect.
• Hands-on expertise with multiple eCommerce platforms.
• Enterprise eCommerce architecture and full replatforming experience.
• Strong knowledge of PIM, Catalog, Search, Cart, Checkout, Payments, OMS, Inventory & Returns.
• Java/Spring Boot, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture.
• REST, GraphQL, React/Next.js, Headless Commerce.
• Experience with platform assessments, RFPs, vendor evaluations, TCO and executive presentations.
• Strong retail/apparel domain experience preferred.
• Excellent client-facing communication, workshop facilitation and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a composable commerce discovery and platform assessment for a major U.S. retail brand.
• Develop a modernization roadmap and multi-year transformation plan.
• Facilitate executive workshops and present vendor evaluations and TCO analyses.
• Provide hands-on guidance on architecture, integrations, and governance for platform migrations.
