Job summary
WesTech is seeking a Solutions Applications & Estimating Manager to lead a team of Applications Engineers and Estimators supporting complex water treatment opportunities. You will oversee proposals, cost estimating, pricing, and preliminary engineering, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management to deliver accurate, competitive solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, estimating, and commercial judgment in EP/EPC/design-build projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or related field; 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in supervision.
- Strong expertise in sales, budgeting, negotiation, customer service, and project management.
- Demonstrated success mentoring and training teams; ability to handle high-profile customer issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead Applications Engineers and Estimators in a fast-paced environment.
- Set team vision, clarify expectations, mentor members, ensure timely deliverables.
- Oversee cost estimation, pricing, and proposal development with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain cost databases and estimating tools; ensure audit-ready documentation.
