Solutions and Design Analyst (Transportation/Logistics Routing)

Join us at Lanter Delivery Systems, LLC as a Solutions and Design Analyst to evaluate and design truck transportation routes, maximizing delivery efficiency. This role reports to the VP of Solutions and Design and is preferably remote or based in the St. Louis area.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain route schedules and change requests
• Resolve service issues related to delivery schedules
• Maintain reports on routing cost-effectiveness
• Analyze and improve routing efficiency
• Adjust routes in collaboration with operations as business needs evolve
• Analyze routing data and identify improvement opportunities
• Evaluate new customer data for routing solutions and pricing
• Assess logistics synergies for prospective acquisitions
• Provide operational reports and other analysis as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in finance, transportation operations, or traffic functions
• Experience with routing software (Appian preferred)
• Understanding of computer file structures and basic accounting
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proactive and team-oriented attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
