Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a Full-Time Solution Mixing Technician - LPN at our Bayside, NY office. The role involves preparing allergen extract mixtures, following recipes, maintaining aseptic technique, labeling and storing supplies, and documenting lot numbers and expiration dates.

The position requires an active LPN license in NY and NCLEX-PN completion. You will assist with inventory, participate in training, and work in a team environment with flexible coverage.

Job Summary

Full-Time Solution Mixing Technician - LPN in our Bayside, NY office.

Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment if needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare allergen extract mixtures accurately, following standardized recipes and protocols.
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety and sterility standards.
• Label, package, and store mixed extracts appropriately.
• Document lot numbers, expiration dates, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of lab supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Prior experience in a laboratory or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile preparation.
• Basic understanding of allergen extracts and immunotherapy.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.
• Allergy experience strongly preferred.
• Graduate from an LPN education program approved by the respective state Education Department.
• Pass the NCLEX-PN examination.
• Active LPN license in the state working in required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently under indirect supervision.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile preparation.
• Basic understanding of allergen extracts and immunotherapy.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relations and customer service skills.
• Open availability to work during weekdays.

Hourly Pay Range: $27.08 -$33.85
