Schweiger Dermatology Group in Mount Vernon is seeking a dedicated Solution Mixing Technician for our Allergy Solutions Lab. This entry-level role focuses on precisely mixing allergen extracts under indirect supervision of a licensed physician.

Ideal candidates have a Medical Assistant background and interest in allergen preparation. The position offers weekday hours, on-site work, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide dermatology practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certification Required.
• Prior experience in a laboratory or clinical setting preferred.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile preparation preferred.
• Basic understanding of allergen extracts and immunotherapy preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare allergen extract mixtures accurately, following standardized recipes and protocols.
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety and sterility standards.
• Label, package, and store mixed extracts appropriately.
• Document lot numbers, expiration dates, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of lab supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training to ensure compliance with best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Allergy Solutions Lab as a Solution Mixing Technician for our Mt Vernon office. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a background as a Medical Assistant or similar, looking to specialize in allergen extract preparation. Under indirect supervision of a licensed physician, the technician will be responsible for the precise mixing of allergen extracts, strictly adhering to established protocols.

Target Hire Date: August 2026

Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm
