Fair Isaac Corporation seeks a full-time Solution Engineering - Lead Engineer based in Bozeman, MT. The primary duty of the Solution Engineering-Lead Engineer is to work with clients and internal teams to leverage data assets applying technology to achieve business objectives, evaluate client requirements to develop a FICO solution, and be responsible for providing and accessing technical aspects for client solutions.

Specific duties include: 1) Responsible for the successful installation and integration of the state-of-the-art predictive software products from FICO designed for loan origination and fraud systems. 2) Work with stake holders, business analysts, and team members to understand complex business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. 3) Participate in an Agile development process to regularly deliver product improvements in a series of planned iterations leading to a product release. 4) Apply domain knowledge in Loan Originations, Telecom and Fraud. 5) Collaborate with enterprise architects to design scalable, re-usable systems optimized for performance and estimate infrastructure sizing to handle horizontal/vertical scaling. 6) Design, develop and test complex application programs to create analytics based decisioning software leveraging predictive and prescriptive modeling using Blaze Advisor. 7) Utilize Java EE and related cloud/server technologies, including Java XML (SOAP) web services (JAX-WS) and Java RESTful web services (JAX-RS). 8) Contribute to and collaborate with other engineers on design, analysis, architecture/modeling, implementation, builds, unit testing, code reviews, installation, system testing, defect fixes, documentation and process enhancements, and for technical solutions for large-scale product or enterprise initiatives. 9) Provide functional and technical Mentoring as part of the FICO Center of Excellence, mentor FICO Interns and Strategic Global Partners. Domestic and international travel required up to 10% of the time.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Systems Science, or related field and three (3) years of related experience. Must also have demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Experience with architecture design of large-scale product or enterprise initiatives including implementation of technical solutions. 2) Experience with practical application of Java EE and related cloud/server technologies, including Java XML (SOAP) web services (JAX-WS) and Java RESTful web services (JAX-RS). 3) Applying solution consulting skills in both technical infrastructure and software architecture in an external customer-focused environment. 4) Working with clients to assess and gather business requirements, to determine and document the details the architecture of the client solution. 5) Industry experience in Loan Originations/Risk, Telecom and Fraud. 6) Practical application designing, developing, testing and performance tuning analytics based decisioning software supporting predictive and prescriptive modeling solutions using Blaze Advisor. 7) Acting as a functional and technical Mentor in the above industries. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Experience must have been gained after Bachelor’s degree program. Domestic and international travel required up to 10% of the time.
