The Scores Software team is responsible for the development, implementation, packaging, delivery and support of our industry leading FICO Score products in the U.S. and around the world. In addition to using your native coding skills to develop the required business logic, we streamline the process by leveraging our proprietary delivery frameworks to generate code in various languages. Expect to gain cutting edge real-world software engineering experience, across multiple software languages, working with our engineers in small teams in a start-up like environment.
Design, implement, and support high-performance, low-latency services across Java, C++, Groovy, and Python, optimizing for throughput and reliability in B2B Scores projects serving both internal and external clients. Contribute to architecture and DevOps strategy using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Load Balancers), containerize applications via Docker, and manage Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability and operational excellence in demanding environments. Assist junior engineers through code reviews, design collaboration, and hands-on project ownership, while partnering with senior engineers to deliver complex, mission-critical solutions. Drive cross-functional collaboration with Analytics, Data, and Product Management teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Use approved AI coding assistants for routine work — scaffolding, test generation, refactors, cross-language ports across Java/C++/Groovy/Python, and first-pass documentation.
