Job summary

Tekst.ai BV is seeking a Solution Engineer to be the technical backbone of our commercial engine. You will partner with Account Executives to prove Tekst's platform can automate complex back‑office processes for large enterprises.

In this role you’ll own technical deals, run discovery with IT architects, build PoCs via APIs and scripting, and feed requirements back to Engineering and Product to shape the platform. A strong closing mindset and clear communications are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in solutions engineering or technical consulting for enterprise SaaS.
• Strong understanding of APIs and webhooks in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with scripting (Python or TypeScript) to build integrations.
• Ability to communicate with CTOs and Heads of Operations.
• Problem-solving in diverse and complex technical setups.

Responsibilities

• Technical deal ownership: drive enterprise deals with Account Executives by showcasing Tekst capabilities.
• Architecture & discovery: lead sessions with customer IT teams to map integration paths.
• Build POc: create demos and PoCs using APIs to demonstrate automation impact.
• Strategic feedback: relay technical requirements to Engineering/Product for roadmap input.
• AI Trust architect: explain security/privacy and data handling of Tekst platform.

The Role

As a Solution Engineer, you are the technical backbone of our commercial engine. You aren’t just "supporting" sales; you are the technical closer. You partner with our Account Executives to prove to world‑class enterprises that Tekst is the only platform capable of solving their complex automation puzzles. You translate business pain into technical reality.

What will you be doing?

• Technical deal ownership: Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle. You are the decisive factor in winning enterprise deals by demonstrating our technical superiority.
• Architecture & discovery: Lead deep‑dive discovery sessions with customer IT architects. You understand their legacy systems and design how Tekst seamlessly integrates into their environment.
• Build Proof‑of‑Concepts: Get your hands dirty by building custom demos and PoCs. You’ll be scripting and working with APIs to show real‑time automation impact on the customer’s own data.
• Strategic feedback loop: You are the eyes and ears in the field. You capture technical requirements and feed them back to our Engineering and Product teams to shape the future of our platform.
• AI Trust architect: You help customers overcome security and privacy hurdles by explaining our architecture, data handling, and the safety of our Agentic AI approach.

Requirements

• Experience: 2‑5+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering or technical consulting for enterprise SaaS.
• Technical core: Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks and enterprise software architectures. You are comfortable with scripting (e.g., Python or TypeScript) to build integrations.
• Closing mindset: You enjoy the thrill of the win and know how to talk to both a CTO and a Head of Operations.
• Problem solver: You love diving into a messy technical environment and coming up with a clean, automated solution.
• Communication: Exceptional presentation skills; you can make complex AI concepts feel simple and safe.
