Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking a Solution Design Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. This role focuses on designing scalable network solutions, delivering pre-sales support, and translating customer needs into concrete technical designs for successful sales and implementation.

Responsibilities include working with product teams to incorporate feedback, creating demonstrations and proposals, and communicating clearly with stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's deg in a related field is required
• 3+ years of network design experience with Ruckus, Aruba, or Cisco Meraki
• Experience with Ekahau and Lucidchart preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Visio, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
• Assess customer requirements and design tailored technical solutions
• Partner with product development to incorporate customer feedback into improvements
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and sales materials

This role combines technical expertise, solution design,problem solving and customer engagement.

The Solution Design Engineer will support pre-salesinitiatives, develop customized technical solutions, and collaborate acrossteams to ensure customer requirements are translated into effective, scalablesolutions that support successful sales and implementation.
