Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking a Solution Design Engineer in Houston, TX, to join a leading property-technology innovator. You will support pre-sales activities, design scalable network solutions, and translate customer requirements into actionable designs with cross-team collaboration.

You will partner with sales, product, and engineering to demonstrate capabilities, prepare proposals, and guide customers with clear, technically sound recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of network design experience with enterprise equipment.
• Experience with pre-sales, technical demonstrations, and customer-facing engagements.
• Strong documentation and proposal-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Assess customer requirements and design tailored technical solutions.
• Partner with product development teams to incorporate customer feedback into improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and sales materials.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure solution alignment and effective communication.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required.
