Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) is seeking an IT Program Manager to lead a cross-functional team responsible for delivering IT solutions and services across business units. The role combines program governance with hands-on delivery of new technologies and processes to support enterprise objectives.

You will mentor staff, manage multiple projects, and drive process improvements. This hybrid role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced environment across the company.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree required.
• Degree in computer science, management information systems, supply chain, or business management preferred.
• IT project or IT work related experience.
• Experience managing technology related projects and/or programs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with systems used by multiple departments/whole company.
• Previous supervisory experience (at least 2 years).

Description

This position is responsible for delivering solutions and technology associated with the Applied Solutions Program for all business units and platforms. Leader of a cross functional team that committed to delivering IT solutions/services to the business that will help with their success.

Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge of various systems/products in portfolio
• Understanding of system dependencies and functions
• Manage information/data gathering process
• Manage delivery of new technologies and solutions
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
• Assist and influence purchasing decisions within Program
• Investigate new features and functionality of current and future technology
• Guide and support departmental goals for all business units and product platforms
• Develop and mentor direct reports; conduct formal performance evaluations and reviews
• Continuing to improve processes and collaboration within department
• Team building within department
• Help create and maintain training for Operational Use
• Lead team that is side by side with business when gathering/deploying solutions
• Communicate and implement new training
• Lead team in testing efforts needed for solution
• Collect information on technology of newly acquired companies or fleet conversions
• Participate in and lead parts of projects
• Assign resources for projects
• Coordinate travel for resources
• Point of escalation to expedite resolution within department and projects
• Manages requirements of new technologies and solutions
• Works with business to determine needs in technologies

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

• College diploma or university degree required
• Degree in the field of computer science, management information systems, supply chain, business management preferred

Knowledge & Experience (at least 3 years experience for each of the following unless noted)

• IT project or IT work related experience
• Experience managing technology related projects and/or programs
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Extensive experience with core software applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.
• Experience of working with systems used by multiple departments/whole company
• Previous supervisory experience (at least 2 years)
