Job summary

LUMA Energy seeks a Senior Delivery Manager to lead the execution of approved technology initiatives from initiation to closure. You will coordinate schedules, cross-functional teams, and deployment plans to ensure smooth delivery and operational readiness.

Collaborating with Infrastructure, Applications, Cybersecurity, OT, and PMO, you will manage risks and drive corrective actions while ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. A PMP/PMI-ACP/ITIL background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience leading technology delivery, implementation coordination, enterprise project execution, or operational deployment activities.
• Experience with enterprise technology implementations, delivery management, integrated project scheduling, production deployments, release management, operational readiness, cross-functional implementation coordination, and Enterprise PMO methodologies.
• Experience working with documents, policies, SOP creation and implementation.
• Proven experience leading projects or initiatives of moderate complexity and influencing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads approved technology initiatives to ensure successful delivery from initiation through closure.
• Develops integrated implementation plans with milestones, resource needs, schedules, and delivery structure.
• Coordinates cross-functional execution activities across Infrastructure, Applications, Cybersecurity, OT, Architecture, Enterprise Services, PMO, and vendors.
• Manages delivery risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies to maintain continuity across the execution lifecycle.
• Monitors project performance against schedules to identify variances and drive timely corrective actions.
• Oversees production releases and deployment sequencing for orderly implementation and cutover execution.
• Validates operational readiness prior to deployment, including support preparedness, documentation, and training effectiveness.
• Follows company policies and standards to ensure compliance with laws and industry regulations.
• Participates in storm restoration tasks and drills to support safe, reliable recovery of services.

• Develops integrated implementation plans to establish clear milestones, resource needs, schedules, and delivery structure.

Additional Job Description:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in: Information Systems; Computer Science; Engineering; Business Administration; Project Management; or Related discipline.

Experience

• 7 years of experience leading technology delivery, implementation coordination, enterprise project execution, or operational deployment activities.
• Experience with: Enterprise technology implementations; Delivery management; Integrated project scheduling; Production deployments; Release management; Operational readiness; Cross-functional implementation coordination; Enterprise PMO methodologies
• Experience working with documents, policies, SOP creation and implementation.
• Proven experience leading projects or initiatives of moderate complexity and influencing cross‑functional teams.

Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 7 years of experience performing a previous positions as Specialist-level role or equivalent.
• High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 12 years of experience performing similar functions described and at least 9 years of experience performing the responsibilities of a Specialist role.
