Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a Solution Architect II to lead the development of enterprise architectures across its IT Hub. You will partner with architects, developers, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to craft future-state designs that enable business outcomes while evolving our technology landscape.

You will mentor staff, assess emerging technologies, and drive consistency in frameworks, design patterns, and best practices, with a focus on reuse and reliability across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2+ years in an IT architecture role (Enterprise, Solution, Integration or Application).
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Strong influencing and consensus-building skills.
• Ability to analyze technology and conduct research.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across organizational levels.
• Ability to manage tradeoffs, risk, and adapt to change.
• Strategic thinking and time management.
