Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a detail-oriented quotes specialist to build, edit, and manage customer quotes and proposals. You will import BOMs and scope-of-work content from architects and managers, format layouts, and ensure accuracy through the review cycle.

You will coordinate with sales, technical, and operations teams to produce customer-ready proposals. Preferred candidates have ConnectWise CPQ and Oracle NetSuite experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent follow-up capabilities to manage

• Demonstrated accuracy in preparing quotes and proposals, following structured processes.
• Ability to convert inputs into customer-ready proposals and maintain version control.
• Strong written communication and document formatting skills.
• Experience using ConnectWise CPQ and Oracle NetSuite preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Job description

• Build and update customer quotes and proposals in ConnectWise CPQ
• Import bills of materials from Solution Architects, Account Managers, manufacturers, or distributors
• Import scope-of-work content from Solution Architects
• Format quote layouts based on sales direction and customer requirements
• Edit, update, and maintain quote content through the review cycle
• Sync completed ConnectWise CPQ quotes to NetSuite for review and downstream processing
• Support Account Managers and sales support teams with quote management tasks
• Request or coordinate manufacturer and distributor quote information
• Maintain quote accuracy, version control, and process consistency
• Convert sales direction, bills of materials, quotes, and scope documents into customer-ready proposals
• Work with sales, technical, and operations teams

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience with VAR, MSP, systems integrator, technology reseller, distributor, or manufacturer preferred
• Familiarity with technology manufacturers such as Cisco, Dell, Microsoft, NetApp, VMware, Splunk, Meraki, Pure Storage, or similar preferred
• Familiarity with manufacturer/distributor quote requests, registrations, renewals, SaaS quotes, hardware quotes, and services quotes preferred
• Must have a car
• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
• Must complete a background check as part of Sentinel’s employment process
